Door to door: route, travel time and total cost.

Should you take a dolmuş (shared minibus) or a taxi to Çatalhöyük? What’s the entrance fee, and is it open today? AnatoliAtlas answers these questions on a single screen. No ads, no sign-up.

The problem: information in four places

Before visiting a historic site, you piece the information together from four places: one website for the fee, a map for the route, bus company sites for departures, and forums for what’s really going on. It’s scattered, outdated and often contradictory.

The biggest gap is the last mile: how to get from the bus station to the site isn’t written anywhere.

Three answers on the first screen

AnatoliAtlas fills that gap. The first screen of every site page answers three questions:

  • Is it open? Today’s hours, taking seasons, public holidays and late-night cut-offs into account.
  • How do I get there? A step-by-step transport strip from where you start to the site.
  • What’s the total? Transport plus entrance fee, always as a range and with the date it was verified.

Why you can trust it

  • Prices and hours aren’t a single number; they’re shown as a range plus a last-verified date. Anything older than 90 days comes with a warning.
  • If something is out of date, report it with one tap via “Did something change?”
  • Your location is never sent to the server.
  • Sites you save open without an internet connection, since half of these historic sites have no phone signal anyway.
  • No ads, no accounts, no sign-up wall.

Explore on the map

See the sites on a map and filter by category and district. Once you’ve picked a place, get directions in Google, Apple or Yandex Maps with one tap.

Coverage

Right now we cover Konya. New regions are next.

Why I built it

Everyone knows the famous museums in the big cities. What I really want is to connect travellers with the places people skip because they’re hard to reach: a höyük (an ancient settlement mound) at the end of a village road, a caravanserai on the edge of a small town, those spots whose location is clear on the map but whose route isn’t.

This is a student’s first app, and it isn’t perfect. But I’d rather say “I don’t know” than give you wrong information. If I got something wrong, let me know through the app and I’ll fix it.

Know before you go: route, travel time, total cost.
